Often we only know what a person creates, but not who they are and why they create. human-to-human is a journalism magazine composed of raw interviews with ArtCenter College of Design students and graduates. It’s a dynamic collaboration– each interviewee had a hand in the visual design of their feature. Designers and illustrators share their unique journey as well as insights on the creative community, and their personal art/design education experience. The reveal of vulnerabilities, hopes, fears, aspirations, failures and passion create a kaleidoscope effect. human-to-human exists to cultivate empathy amongst creatives.
“We’re humans. We’re not machines. How are you supposed to know how to navigate through life and work and be good at everything unless you’re taught how to be a human? You can be a good designer, because you’re good at typesetting, but are you good at being human while doing it? ”
